According to question

x = 12 mn / m+n

Thus Putting x in equation

(x+6m) / (x-6m)  -  (x+6n)/(x-6n)  = x^2 - 36mn + 6mx - 6xn + x^2 - 6mx + 6nx - 36mn / (x-6m) (x - 6n)
                 = 2x^2 - 72 mn / (x - 6m) ( x- 6n)
                 = 2 (x^2 - 36 mn) / (x - 6n ) (x - 6m)
                 = 2 ( x^2 - 36 mn) / (x^2 - 6mx - 6nx + 36mn )
                 = 2 (x^2 - 36 mn) / ( x^2 + 36 mn - 6mx - 6nx)
                 =  2 (x^2 - 36 mn) / [ x^2  + 36 mn - 6x (m+n) ]
                = 2 (x^2 - 36mn) / (x^2 - 36 mn)
                   = 2
