Hey MATE!!
If we are considering 2 sets A and B and they have and they both have some elements in common then necessarily (AΠB) is defined for those two sets.
But according to the question we have an element which is common in both sets but not included in AΠB.
This case is only possible when some condition is defined for (AΠB). Let us understand it with an example;
A ={1,2,3,4} and B ={7,4,3,2,10}
Take (AΠB) of Even numbers.
AΠB ={2,4}
We clearly see that 3 is common in both sets but we excluded it from AΠB as it didn't satisfied the given condition.
Hope it helps
