If x-k2 is a factor of x2-k2x+k-3, find the value of k

Putting x=k2 in the exp. we get
k4-k4+k-3 = 0 (since x-k2 is a factor of the given exp.)
or, k-3=0
Therefore k=3
Ans:- k=3
