If x % of 15 is equal to y % of 20 and y % of 20 is equal to 44% of 15, then the value of y + x is

Given,

        x% of 15 = y% of 20          ------: ( 1 )

   And, y% of 20 = 44% of 15    ------: ( 2 )

                  In ( 1 )

y% of 20 = 44% of 15


\dfrac{y}{100}\times20=\dfrac{44}{100}\times15


\dfrac{y}{5} = \dfrac{11}{5} \times 3


\dfrac{y\times5}{5} = 11 \times 3


y = \dfrac{11\times3\times5}{5}


y =33



                     In ( 2 )


x% of 15 = y% of 20 = 44% of 15


\dfrac{x}{100}\times15 = \dfrac{44}{100}\times15


\dfrac{x}{20}\times 3 = \dfrac{22}{10} \times 3


[tex] x = \dfrac{22\times 3 \times 20}{10\times3}


x = 44




∴ x + y = 33 + 44

x + y = 77
