(x+p)(x+q) = x^2+5x-300
x²+(p+q)x+pq = x²+5x-300
comparing we get,
(p-q) = 5 (as pq is in negative)
pq = -300
P²+q² = (p-q)² +2pq
p²+q² = (5)²-600
p²+q² = 25-600 = -575 (Ans)
