x^2 + 1/x^2 = ?

( x + 1/x )^2 = ( x )^2 + ( 1/x )^2 + 2 ( x )( 1/x )

》( 6 )^2 = x^2 + 1/x^2 + 2

》36 = x^2 + 1/x^2 + 2

》x^2 + 1/x^2 = 36 - 2

》x^2 + 1/x^2 = 34
