My answer is simpler take X square + 1 by x square take x square as common and y square + 1 by y square take y square is common. So it will be x sq (2) and y sq(2). take two as common, then it will be X square + Ysquare [2]=4. So x sq + y square is equal to 4 by 2 is equal to 2
