If x to the power 2 plus one by x to the power 2 equal to 6 find the value of x to the power 4 plus one by x to the power 4

 {x}^{2}+\frac{1}{x^{2}}  = 6
thus \: squaring \: both \: the \: sides \: we \: get -
( {x^{2} +  \frac{1}{{x}^{2} }  })^{2}  = (6)^{2}
 {x}^{4}  +  \frac{1}{x^{4} }  = 36

x²+1/x²=6

squaring on both sides......

(x²+1/x²)²=6²

x⁴+1/x⁴=36
