Given, x^{y}=64 and y is not equal to 1.

Possible situations are:

(2)^{6}, (-2)^{6},(4)^{3}, (8)^{2}, (-8)^{2}, (\frac{1}{2}) ^{-6} ,(\frac{1}{-2}) ^{-6} , (\frac{1}{4}) ^{-3},(\frac{1}{8}) ^{-2},(\frac{1}{-8}) ^{-2}

So, greatest possible value of x/y is 8/2=4.

Similarly, greatest possible value of y/x is for (\frac{1}{-8}) ^{-2} which is \frac{-2}{\frac{1}{-8} } =16

Hence, sum of greatest possible value of x/y and greatest possible value of y/x is 4 +16=20.
