Given

⇒xy = 12

To find

⇒Value of x² + y²

We know that

⇒(a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

we get

⇒(x + y)² = x² + y² + 2xy

By putting value

⇒(10)² = x² + y² + 2(12)

⇒100 = x² + y² + 24

⇒x² + y² = 100 - 24

⇒x² + y² = 76
