HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

BY USING THE IDENTTY (X+Y)²= X²+Y²+2XY

(X+Y)²= X²+Y²+2XY

(12)²= X²+Y² + 2*32

144 = X²+Y² + 64

144-64 = X²+Y²

80= X²+Y²

SO, THE VALUE OF X²+Y²= 80

Answer:

given =.x+y = 12

xy=32

find  x^{2}+y^{2}=?

x+y = 12 (squaring on both side)

 x^{2}+y^{2}+ 2xy = 144 \\ x^{2}+y^{2}+2×32 = 144 \\ x^{2}+y^{2}=.144-2×32 \\ x^{2}+y^{2}=80
