Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

___________________________

We have been given:-

x - y = 13

xy = 28

We also know that:-

(x - y)² = x² + y² - 2xy

Substitute the values:-

(13)² = x² + y² - 2(28)

169 = x² + y² - 56

x² + y² = 169 - 56

x² + y² = 113

■ According to the question ■

●x - y = 13

●xy = 28

■ Use the formula :-

(x - y)² = x² + y² - 2xy

■ Put the values ■

●(13)² = x² + y² - 2 × 28

■ 169 = x² + y² - 56

●x² + y² = 169 - 56
