if x + y = 14 and x -y = 2

x-y=2

2x=16
x=8
y=6

hey !! here is your answer
given , equations are
x + y = 14. . .... (1)
x - y = 2. ........ (2)
adding equation (1) and (2) , we get
2x = 16 => x = 16/2

=> x = 8
now , put this value in equ (1) , we get
8 +y = 14

=> y = 14 - 8

=> y = 6



hence , x = 8 and y = 6
