If x+y=25 and y-x=10 then find 2x+3y​

As we know X plus Y is equal to 25 and Y minus X is equal to 10 we can write Y minus X is equal to 10 as Y is equal to 10+ X now replacing its value in first equation Gives us X +10+ X is equal to 25



2x=25-10
2x=15
X=7.5

Y=10+7.5
Y=17.5



2(7.5)+3(17.5)
=15+52.5
=67.5
