Given,

x + y =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{2}{3}

Let us put the value of x,

 \frac{2}{3}  + y =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\ y =  \frac{3}{2}  -  \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\ y =  \frac{3(3) - 2(2)}{6}  \\  \\ y =  \frac{9 - 4}{6}  \\  \\ y =  \frac{5}{6}

We've got the value of y. But we aren't very sure for this, so let's check once.

 \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{5}{6}  =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\   \frac{2(2) + 5(1)}{6}  =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\  \frac{4 + 5}{6}  =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\  \frac{9}{6}  \: or \:  \frac{3(3)}{3(2)}  =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\  \frac{3}{2}  =  \frac{3}{2}
Hence checked.

If any doubt, please ask :)

Here is your answer buddy,

X+Y=3/2 and given X = 2/3

Therefore,

X+Y = 3/2
=> 2/3 + Y = 3/2
=> 2+3Y/3 = 3/2
=> 4+6Y = 9
=> 6Y = 5
=> Y = 5/6

Hope this helps you.
