x + y = 4 ---1equation
y + z = 7 ---2equation
x + z = 5 ---3equation
××××××××××××××××××××××
Adding all the equations,
x + y = 4
y + z = 7
x + z = 5
____________
2x + 2y + 2z = 16
____________
2x + 2y + 2z = 16
=> 2(x + y + z) = 16
=> x + y + z = 16/2
=> x + y + z = 8
Square on both sides,
=> (x + y + z)² = 8²
=> (x + y + z)² = 64 [your Answr]
I hope this will help you
