Hey there!

We know that ,
 \boxed{ Additive \: inverse \: of \: a \: number \: is \: a \: number \: which \: when \: added \: to \: the \: given \: number, \: gives \: 0 }

Now,
x/y is the additive inverse of c/d

So, x /y = - ( c/d)

Finding,
x/y - c/d

= x/y + x/y

= 2x/y

= -2c/d

 \therefore If x/y is the additive inverse of c/d then,

 \boxed{ \frac{x}{y} - \frac{c}{d} = \frac{2x}{y} = \frac{-2c}{d}}

Hii Mate here is Your Answer,

Given

x/y is the additive inverse of c/d

x/y = -c/d or -x/y = c/d. .......eq.1

Now.....

x/y - c/d

= x/y -( -x/y) (from. eq.1)

=x/y + x/y

=2 x/y. .....Answer...

,**********Hope this helps You a lot ***************
