8( {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} ) = 17( {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2} ) \\ 8 {x}^{2}  + 8 {y}^{2}  = 17 {x}^{2}  - 17 {y}^{2}  \\ 8 {y}^{2}  + 17 {y}^{2}  = 17 {x}^{2}  - 8 {x }^{2}  \\ 25 {y}^{2}  = 9 {x}^{2}  \\  \frac{25}{9}  =  \frac{ {x}^{2} }{ {y}^{2} }  \\  \frac{5}{3}  =  \frac{x}{y}
