(x - y)^{2}  =   {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  - 2xy \\  {6}^{2}  = {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} - 2 \times 10  \\ 36 = {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} - 20 \\ {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} = 56
