Given:-

  • xy=6
  • Where, X =2

To Find:-

  • Value of y.

Then,

\implies\sf{xy = 6}

\implies\sf{2 \times y = 6}

\implies\sf{y =  \frac{6}{2} }

\implies\sf{y =\fbox{\red 3}}

1) Given,x+y=12 and xy=14

   x+y=12

Squaring both sides, we get,

   (x+y)2=122

=>x2+y2+2xy=144

=>x2+y2+2(14)=144

=>x2+y2=144−28

=>x2+y2=116

2)(13)2=x2+y2—2(28)

169=x2+y2−56

169+56=x2+y2

225=x2+y2

So, the value of x2+y2 is 225.
