Answer:

xy = 96......(1)

3y = 2x ..... (2)

from equation 1 we have,

x = 96/y

substituting the value of x in equation 2

we have

3y = (2 × 96)/y

y^2 = (2×96)/ 3

y^2 = 2× 32

y^2= 64

y= 8

x= 96/y = 96/8

x = 12

Answer:

xy = 96 \\ x = 96 \div y \\ 3y = 2 \times 96 \div y \\ 3y = 192 \div y \\ 3y {2}  = 192 \\ y square = 192 \div 3 \\ y = 8 \\  \times  = 96 \div 8 \\x = 12
