Here , y^2+1/y^2=23

adding both sides 2 we get:

y^2+2/y^2+2=25

or y^2+1/y^2+2×y×1/y=25

or (y+1/y)^2=25

or y+1/y=root (25)

or, y+1/y=5........ (i)

Now, taking cube both sides of...(i) we get,

y^3+1/y^3+3y+3/y=125

or y^3+1/y^3+3 (y+1/y)=125

or, y^3+1/y^3+3×5 =125 {Using ....(i)}

or, y^3+1/y^3=125-3×5=125-15=110 answer...
