Here your answer goes

Step :- 1

Given ,

y = 3x

let  F and E to the Sides of angle x and y respectively

Step :- 2

∠ABE = ∠CBF = 40° ( Vertically Opposite Angle )

We know that exterior angle is equal to Sum of two interior angles

Let named the exterior angle of a Circle   Z and P  Where Z is a angle on C and P is a angle on A

So ,

Z = x + 40  -----> (1)

P = y + 40 -------> (2)

Step :- 3

From the cyclic Property of a Quadrilateral We can Say that

Z + P = 180°

So it is ,

(x+40) + ( y +40) =  180°

x+ y + 80 = 180°

x + y = 180° - 80

x + y = 100° ------> (3)

Step :- 4

We have given y = 3x

Put the value of y in equation (3)

x + 3x = 100°

4x = 100°

x = \frac{100}{4}

x = 25°

Therefore , the value of  x is 25°

y = 3x

let  S and K to the Sides of angle x and y respectively

∠ABK= ∠CBS = 40° ( Vertically Opposite Angle )

exterior angle is equal to Sum of two interior angles

Z = x + 40  ---- (1)

P = y + 40 ------(2)

From the cyclic Property of a Quadrilateral

Z + P = 180°

(x+40) + ( y +40) =  180°

x+ y + 80 = 180°

x + y = 180° - 80

x + y = 100° ---- (3)

y = 3x

Put the value of y in equation (3)

x + 3x = 100°

4x = 100°

value of  x is 25°
