if y=4 what is the slope

Equation of straight line is

y = mx + C

where m is the slope

in the given equation

slope is 0

another methode to find slope

are

y = 4

diffrenciating with respect to x we get

m = dy/dx =0

3rd methode to find slope are using graph

since y = 4

it means the point is on y axis whose x intercept is 0 so slope is 0 .

Answer:

you can find out the slope by using formula

*y=mx+c*

the answer will come 0

'OR'

considering graph we can imagine that since only y axis is given(y=4) it means that line is parallel to the x axis , since line is parallel therefore no slope is there , hence slope is 0

ANS=0
