If yeast is an unicellular organism..why it is placed in Fungi kingdom...why not in Protista?

Yeast is a unicellular organism but along with that it is eukaryote too. In Protista, the organisms are prokaryotic.
Also the nutrition of yeast is that of parasitic.Therefore it is kept in Fungi.
