Let us suppose the number is x.
Now, framing LHS : (x/3) + 16---------- (1)
Framing RHS : 3x ----------- (2)
Therefore, ATP,
(x/3) + 16 = 3x
=> x + 48 = 9x --------(Multiplying both sides by 3)
=> 9x - x = 48
=> 8x = 48
=> x = 6------------(Dividing both sides by 8)
Therefore, the required no. is 6 ------- (Ans: )
Cross-check : LHS -> (6/3) + 16 = 18
RHS -> 3*6 = 18
Therefore, LHS = RHS ---------- (Hence proved )
