Nylon fibre is a synthetic and polyamide fibre. Monomer units consists of hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid are combined with the help of amide linkage.

Jute is a polymer made of cellulose. It has only one single unit of cellulose. Each cellulose units are linked by a ,ß-1,4 linkage.

Strength of nylon fibres are very higher that jute string. Nylon fibers bear and tolerate more load than jute string.

Therefore, I would not replace jute string instead of nylon rope for climbing rock.
