well the simplest answer to this question is using animal manure and decompose pit but to make things interesting and complex you can learn the quantity of minerals and other essential compounds required for the crop that you are growing and list all of the organic domestic waste,animal waste, that you have access to and try to find what minerals can each of the materials give you and the process required for it then according to the need of your crop apply it in your field

A great example of this technique is a group of two students that participated in Google science fair from Africa who used chicken manure to enhance production of food crop as their land was not very fertile
