As a man needs a woman to make mankind survive, a man alone means the doom of mankind. wouldn't survive.
For an individual survivalb while being alone in a remote area,then it would depend on the resources available.
if no human lived on earth, only the nature would be everywhere. whether in jungle or along shore or around thelakes,food would be planty. but you must carefool so that you yourself would not become food particulary at night.
You would need to know to make stone tools or must have a machete.
