If you dip an iron nail into a copper sulphate solution, it comes out copper plated. But if you dip a copper nail in iron sulphate, will it be iron plated? Why? Please answer quickly today itself ... its my exam tomorrow..... Fidha

Yes the displacement reaction follows reactive series and Cu is placed much lower than Fe. So iron is not plated if we put Cu nail in iron sulphate.
