If you get a mixture of mud and water ,how will you separate it?

I'll heat it up. The water will get evaporated and the mud will stay there. But in this process you won't be able to get the water. :(

Who cares! You can get more water from hand pumps, taps, wells, rivers, lakes, ponds or collect some rainwater. You can also get water by melting some ice in the glaciers or dig into the ground untill you find underwater. Or you can buy a bottle of water from a nearby shop. But water is precious, you know, wait... where's Perry?

We can separate mixtures of water and an insoluble substance like sand by filtering. Filter paper is ideal to filter off sand from water.
