Question :

One number is 20 times of the other number. The product of two numbers is 500. Find the numbers.

Solution :

Let one number be x

 \underline{ \large \purple{ \mathscr{\dag\:A \bf{ccourding}  \: to   \: \mathscr {Q} \bf{uestion} ....}}}

One number is 20 times of the other number.

x be the smaller number. so larger number is 4x

Product of two numbers is 500

x × 4x = 500

4x² = 500

x² = 500/4

x = √125

x = 5√5

Hence,

  • One number is 5√5
  • Other number is 20√5
