Answer:

x=40

Step-by-step explanation:

both angles are supplementary to each other

therefore

(x+35)+(2x+25)=180

3x+60=180

3x=180-60

x=120/3

x=40

hope it HELPS

Both the given angles lie on a straight line and the angles which lie on a straight line have a sum of 180 . No matter how many angles are their on the line their sum will be 180 .

So ,

(x + 35) + (2x + 25) = 180

3x + 60 = 180

3x = 180 - 60

3x = 120

x = 120 / 3

x = 40

First angle = (x + 35) = 40 + 35 = 75

Second angle = (2x + 25) = (2 × 40) + 25 = 80 + 25 = 105

I am expecting that u know how to solve linear equations and hence not explaining the calculation part .

Hope it was helpful and your your doubt is now cleared .
