Yes. I believe grounding yourself in gratitude is part of what allows the state you must be in to grow and have more. You also get the feeling of being satisfied, which makes you feel more that you aren't in need or desperation.
Has anyone ever tried to force something that you wanted, but their desperate energy broke the attraction? Like a used car salesman?
Ingratitude is the used car salesman of life.
And if you always put yourself in a state of want? Then you'll never have enough. You'll always want more no matter how much you get.
