Badrinath lies in the northern part of India.Mountain soil is found in this region.The vegetation consists of trees like pine , fir ,ceder,,etc.
As we move down there lies the Indo-gandetic plain which has the fertile alluvial soil.Here the vegetation consists of agricultural crops.When we come to the Sunderbans Mangrove soil [marine alluvium].The vegetatin consists of Littoral forests[ Sundri Nipa,etc.]
