Venus turns on its axis in the opposite direction to the rest of our celestial family. Due to this retrograde rotation, if you were to stand on Venus' surface, the sun would rise in the West and set in the East.

Earth spins west to east. Hence sun rise from east and sets in the west but Venus is just just opposite to it.

ie. Sun rise from West sets in East in case of Venus .

Venus spins in the opposite direction from most other planets, including Earth, so that on Venus the sun rises in the west.

Venus initially spun in the same direction as most other planets and, in a way, still it does: it simply flipped its axis 180 degrees at some point.

Strong Atmospheric tides from the sun made it Flip 180 degrees.

Tidal effects of other planets also made it to spin opposite wrt to earth.
