now given

now
$2x - 1 = \frac{1}{8} \times 4 \\ 2x - 1 = \frac{1}{2} \\ 2x = \frac{1}{2} + 1 \\ 2x = \frac{3}{2} \\ x = \frac{3}{2} \div 2 \\ x = \frac{3}{2} \times \frac{1}{2} \\ x = \frac{3}{4}$
