There is two specific method by which we can find out the square root of any no.

1) Factorization method

2) Long Division method

By Factorization method we do following process -

484. = 2×2 ×11×11

we got the pair of 2 and 11. when we do multiplication we get ,

22
hence the square root of 484 is 22


By long Division method -

step 1) -

Do the bar over 484 such that 4 will be single one and 84 will be in pair of two digit no.


step -2) Divide 4 first the quotient shouldn't be more than 4 and the divisor should be a perfect square root but it can be less , than 4

step -3) Here we can see 4 can be divided by 2 completely , now in left side make the next divisor double and to brought down no. 84


step -4) Do same produres for 84 also
guess a divisor such that
r<84 and this is how r became = 0

thus we got 22 as the Perfect root of the 484

There are 2 ways : Factorisation and long division.But if you would like to solve it fast u need to know a quicker method.The method is used for finding the square root of large,seemingly impossible numbers like 42025 which has its square root as 205. So first u need to check the last digit.in this case it is 4 , only square of 2 and 8 have the last digit as 4,therefore 484's square root is a number ending with 2 or 8.....andwith 20² we get 400 and the next number, ending with 2 is 22.
