Jonathan Swift wisely said, "“A wise man should have money in his head, but not in his heart.” A wise man always maintains balance in all areas of his life. It is true also, if we pay more heed to one aspect, other aspects of our life get affected with it. So one must always learn to pay due attention to each aspect wisely.

So keeping the wisdom of wise men in mind I will be very scrupulous in making decision concerning accepting a job that is highly lucrative but full of stress. A reasonable amount of stress is good; but undue stress can weaken my very mental health that will have impact on my overall health. What will I do with money when I will not be healthy? An unhealthy person won’t be able to do his job well, and will soon lose it.

Peace is a prerequisite for a happy life. The wise men of all times have advised the people in general to choose peaceful life. In the world around us, we see many affluent people who have plenty of money without peace and power; they don't enjoy life; money is of little use; the following lines describe the limits of money so beautifully:

"Money can buy you a bed but not sleep. Money can buy you a clock but not time. Money can buy you a book but not knowledge. Money can buy you a position but not respect. Money can buy you medicine but not health. Money can buy you blood but not life."

So keeping the wisdom of sages in mind, I won’t accept a job that will be lucrative but full of high stress.
