If I were the old man, I would surely have accepted those gifts from Raja’s grandfather. I know that he had sent me those gifts because I had saved his grandson from death by treating for the snake bite. In my perspective, if I accept the gifts I will surely be happy.
But if I see from the perspective of Raja’s grandfather, he will be sad if I don’t accept the gifts. It had been sent by him as his tone of happiness as his grandson was back to their family. If I reject it, they may feel that I have no interest in joining their happiness.
This makes me to accept those gifts, whatever it may be.
