If I would become a manager someday i would adopt the combination of two leadership styles:
- Participative or Democratic Leadership
- Laissez- faire Style leadership
- Leadership is the process of guiding and motivating people at work to achieve the common organizational goal. There are many ways that a leader can adopt.
- Participative Or Democratic Leadership involves a process in which the leader takes decision after consulting with the employees.
- Thus with the help of democratic model my employees will feel motivated, their decision making power will enhance and above all the quality of overall decision will improve.
- Laissez fair Style involves the delegation of authority so that the subordinates can take the decisions.
- I will adopt this model to some extent like i will delegate authority of daily routine jobs to my employees so that they need not to come daily to the boss for taking same permissions again and again.
- Thus with the help of Laissez fair Model the employees will have more responsibility which will lead to their skill development and also the load over superior will decrease.
- At last with the both models the job satisfaction and morale of the employees will boost up.
