if your intuition tells u something, are you supposed to follow that and act accordingly ?

Probably yes.
For me, I'll definitely consider the option, for omen works for me, and have in the past.

To be more rational tho, I'll surely act with the odds, because sometimes just even a slight gesture invokes a big action.

And for sure, I'll think independent of my personal inclination, which shouldn't be taken into account at all and obviously not be confused with intuition, which is more analytical
