If yu hear a gunshot 2 seconds after it fired , how far away from the gun are you ? (speed of sound in air = 330m/s)

If the gunshot is heard 2 seconds after firing, the total distance will be 660m. 
The velocity of the sound in the air is about 330m/s. 

Using the formula, speed=distance/time. 

330=d/2 


330*2=d 


660=d
