HCF(x, y)=z
HCF(x/z, y/z)=?
prime factorization-
let prime factorization of x be (z)*1
x=(z)*(some other no. )
therefore ,y=(z)*(other no. than x's factirisation)
x/z=(some other no. )
y/z=(other no. than x's factirisation)
tgerefore, HCF(x/z, y/z)=1
