z1 = 3 - 4i

z2 = 7 + 2i

To Find :

Re(1/z1z2)

Solution :

z1z2 = (3 - 4i)(7 + 2i)

⇒ 21 + 6i - 28i - 8i²

⇒ 21 - 22i + 8

⇒ 29 - 22i

Hence, 1/29 - 22i

⇒ 1/29 - 22i × (29 + 22i/29 + 22i)

⇒ (29 + 22i)/(841 + 638i - 638i - 474i²)

⇒ (29 + 22i)/(841 + 474)

⇒ (29 + 22i)/1,315

⇒ 29/1,315 + 22/1,315 i

Hence, Re(1/z1z2) = 29/1,315.
