if3by5th of a number exceeds its 2by7th by 44, find the number.​

Let the number is x.

Then by the given question,  

x×3/5=x×2/7+44

or, 3x/5-2x/7=44

or, (21x-10x)/35=44

or, 11x=44×35

or, x=(44×35)/11

or, x=4×35

or, x=140

(3÷5)x - (2÷7)x = 44

(21x-10x) ÷ 35 = 44

11x = 44×35
