if \: x = 3 \: is \: putted \: in \:  \\  {x}^{2}  - 2kx - 6  = 0 \\  {3}^{2} - 2 \times 3k - 6 = 0 \\ 9 - 6k - 6 = 0 \\ 3 - 6k = 0 \\  - 6k =  - 3 \\ k =  \frac{ - 3}{ - 6}   \\ k =  \frac{1}{2}

● Puting the value of x in Qd equation

=> x^2-2k-6=0

=> 3^2-2k-6=0

=> 9-2k-6=0

:- 2k=3

=> k=3/2
