speed of 4m/s. Calculate the time taken to complete one circular

Answer :

Radius of circular path = 25cm = 0.25m

Speed of butterfly = 4m/s

We have to find time taken by butterfly to complete one revolution of circle.

What is speed ?

Speed is defined as the ratio of distance travelled to the time taken.

It's a scalar quantity having only magnitude.

After one revolution, Distance covered by butterfly will be equal to perimeter of circle (2πR)

» Speed = Distance / time

» 4 = (2π × 0.25) / time

» time = 0.5π / 4

» time = 0.39 s
