1. Minimum Temperature is recorded against the day of observation, and the maximum temperature against the previous day.

2. South west monsoon winds brings rainfall to most parts of india. It is the rain bearing seasonal winds that flow from the Arabian sea to the mainland of india from the South-west direction. They start to cross india around May, and as per Indian Meteorological Department the official monsoon season is between June to September.
