In the mid time of menstrual cycle the egg gets released from the ovary and stays in the uterus where it can stay alive for a day. At this time if the mating occurs and sperm gets in ouch with the egg, fertilization can occur

Because happen the ovulatory stage during which the ovum is released into the fallopian tube and it is waiting for the sperm for the fertilization to take place. Would be possible for fertilization
